No they dont. I know indians that got made fun of for talking white in high school by blacks. They would often call them coconuts. Even if they could get it through their thick skulls that these people were not african americans or african they would still say "yo black cause u got black skin cud".

Americans in general are brainwashed in color ism...I heard of a story of a man who was very black in color but was a
South Indian he had to go to immigration in our city in America, the white clerk insisted he was a Black American...

He insisted he was South Indian...She then insisted he was a Black American who changed his name because he was of
the Afro-Centrism variety...This immigration clerk had NO CLUE WHATSOEVER about South Indian people..Americans think
the world thinks like they do on racial issues..

It actually is true that if a Soith Indian is dark enough and some are so dark it is hRd to believe they are t African they can get made fun of for talking white. Since I grew up in arguably one of the top 3 most diverse counties in the U.S., I don't face anything like that in school and most educated AA's don't tell me to stop talking white, which honestly is t even a thing.

Africans are foreigners for most African-Americans.

What you have to keep in mind is that there is a larger cultural distance between Black-Americans and Africans in comparison to Caribbean blacks like those in Haiti and Cuba. The type of slavery we had in the U.S distance us more from Africa so black-Americans never developed a culture that included African drums and other African customs that could help black-Americans and Africans to relate to each other. Blacks in Haiti and Cuba still have direct African customs that could be used to help them to interact with Africans better.

I agree. That's rather silly. Yes, I can see a few fools with that mentality, but most AA's, indeed, seem to know better.

I will submit to you that it is AFRICANS who he has nothing in common with. He is part of a segment of the AA community, which is hardly a monolithic group.
