it was a joy for Zimbabwean fans and southern African supporters when the Zimbabwean warriors progressed to the semi finals. It was such a let down when the warriors lost to Libya on penalty shoot outs. The warriors had a very good ball possession but they could just not utilize the many chances they had, it seemed as though both players as they got to the Libyan goal post they were to scared to shoot for goal.
They coach made the biggest mistake to let Peter Moyo take the penalty shoot out knowing pretty well that he is just capable of shooting balls that just go way high above the goal post. The keeper did a fantastic job to try to keep the game going but it seems the zimbabwean players are very poor on taking penalties. The boys played pretty well in spite of a defeat. The coach did a pretty job this time around.
