European countries and the USA need to pool their developmental resources together, under one single framework, and with one planned direction, then they can invest larger amounts in Africa and in a more cohesive manner. This way they can do much more and have a much greater impact on building a modern Africa, with the infrastructure and development that it deserves. If this is done, Africa won't need china, china wont get its feet under the table and wont be able to exploit Africa further

The railroad being replaced is a famous symbol of British Imperialism in which 2,500 people died during construction at the end of the 19th century. The story of the man eating lions that killed 28 people was made into a film in 1996.

I don't think Chinese exploitation is any different than European exploitation.

There is no comparison whatsoever between european colonization,slavery,exploitation,oppression of african people, the theft of their national resources and the chinese business in Africa

I was responding to a post which referred to the Chinese business in Africa as exploitation.
