well said. Doctors are trying to not give negative connotations about the case. It is worrisome at a very large scale if you live near the city. The worse thing about Ebola is its symptoms won't show until a week or so later hence one can be healthy and once reached certain destinations, that's when it breaks loose.

Ebola is not contagious until the symptoms have appeared.

That reduces the worry greatly.

Wrong!

It is sexually transmissible long before "external fluids" need to get exchanged.

There's whole body titer, and then there's body part titer.

Also, it seems to be able to go through the skin, as for instance when it does when carried by sweat (most likely a two-way highway).

How Do You Catch Ebola: By Air, Sweat Or Water? : Goats and Soda : NPR

Not sure whom your local witch doctor is telling you all this but make sure to sacrifice a chicken or cow to Ra the sun god to ward off those evil spirts while you are at it.

And to infect, those fluids have to reach a break in the skin or the mucous membranes found around your eyes, mouth and nose.
Seriously, why not next time link a reputable source to your claim unless you happen to be a doctor in infectious disease? I mean, frankly, spreading incorrect information is one thing if it's your favorite character on Sesame Street but for a disease actuallY KILLING people....someone would have to have a lot of hubris just posting up garbage they hear.

Honestly, what is your source for the information you just posted?

so you are so knowledgable about what Ebola might well EVOLVE into, right? Malaria has been around forever. It really only exists because people are stupid and lazy. Give them money for mosquito netting and explain the risks, and they will go buy chocolate with it. Give them condoms, demonstrating how they go on a stick, and you'll find a stick with a condom on it in each front yard, and just as many pregnancies as ever.

A break in skin doesn't mean it has to be a big gaping stab wound. If you even have a microscopic scratch or bug bite, the virus can likely still get in -- regardless of whether you can see the scratch or not.

Please be sure to carefully re-read the last 5-6 posts before jumping in next time.

I was addressing the claim that sweat glands were a 2-way street.
