This is a video of a white American (who has no ties from Africa) speaking Yoruba (an African tribal language).
With 20 million speakers Yoruba is hardly a tribal language

Should white South Africans have a right to erect obstacles to restrict the upward mobility of non whites? No.

But aren't they by now not native to South Africa, in the same way that European born non whites are? Yes.
No, I'm not native to Europe as someones heritage cannot be changed. Same with White South Africans they can't change their heritage which is European.

Then we are all African, if migration cannot change our "heritage".

The point being made seems pretty clear to me: whites who have been living in Africa for generations aren't to be considered in the poll since they would be more accustomed to learn African languages. Heritage has nothing to do with learning the language: it's rather obvious that a white person whose great-grandfather had come to Africa is more likely to know Xhosa/Yoruba/random African language than me who have never extensively been to Africa.

Read the thread title. The OP does use the term "origin."

I stand corrected.

I was going by the original post:

"Is there any Chinese, Japanese, European, South American, Indian( india) , American, Russian, Arab, speaking any African language?"

To me, that means someone not currently a resident of an African country.
