I'm just curious, how popular is San Francisco city in Africa? Is it the top city that people in African nations would want to live in if they moved to the United States? If not the top, is it a second or third choice?

Would you live there? Vacation there?

What are your opinions of San Francisco, please share.

I'm not in Africa.

But, in general, I think by immigration numbers alone, it's usually Atlanta, Houston, Washington DC, New York City with the higher numbers of African immigrants. I think statistically they go for the locations that are at least A LITTLE closer to Africa, and has direct flights.

San Francisco doesn't have much of an African or African-American community really. Not that I'm aware, and I'm speaking as someone who once lived in San Francisco.

The San Francisco Bay Area has a decent-size African-American population but most of it is in the East Bay, not necessarily in the city of San Francisco.

San Francisco isn't a great city for African Americans. Despite being a heavily democrat/liberal city, the Black population in San Francisco has plummeted over the past few decades. Most of them are being economically pushed out to East Bay. I have family that live there and they say that it's not really a Black-friendly city.

San Francisco I'd maybe look at purely because I'm in IT and you don't get much bigger than Silicon Valley Other than that I don't think I've ever heard anyone here say they want to move there...Especially since it's near impossible to get a work visa to actually to get into the USA.
