Yup. In Axum. We were there last summer. Fantastic trip all around. The people are amazing.

The Ark is in here. One guardian for life, he doesn't leave, no one enters. This is an old pic of the web. There's a new "Ark Church" built immediately behind this one now that is being finished, as this current one is old and not in the greatest of shape. Personally my favorite places were Lake Tana and Lalibella.

Many Ethiopians are Jewish, but most have either left for Israel or are in the process of leaving.

SOME are Jewish....most Ethiopians are not Jewish.

But there is a small lineage that is...135,000 are in Israel now...and Israel brought almost all of them already....could be another 15,000 or so...not so sure.

But the population of Ethiopia is 94,000,000.....and about 93,800,000 would not be Jewish...

It is pretty interesting though...for those that are....

In Unbeliever's defense, he/she said many, not most. 150,000 Falasha Jews in Ethiopia is "many" more than anyone who is not familiar with them would think are there.
