Gold Mining in Mali is done still using traditional methods using child labor the children aren't earning money the process also exposes them to toxic mercury. Adults earn $3-$4 weekly, working conditions are deplorable.

Do you think a fair trade label for the gold that meets fair labor practices would be a good start to help serve as an impetus to improve work conditions?
