I'm curious because I saw on African ancestry they were listed as the native people of mali and Nigeria and they were listed as a different group of people than berbers on the genetic level. I looked them up for a research paper I did in March, and I remember reading that it said they were Berber people and originally Libyan. But looking at them now they do look very different from Berber people imo. They look far closer to their like Sonninke people with a few differences in hair texture and facial features. But they don't seem to be much different. I was wondering are they black or white?

Tauregs are in fact the result of interbreeding of Caucasian and negroes in north Africa.
