Maiherpri Mummy (18th Dynasty, 1427-1392 BC) Ancient Egypt... Absolutely black african mummy ( hair are typical black-african )

In ancient Egypt there were black-african people and semitic people... both living together.. Skin color was not a problem... as it was not a problem during ancient roman time..

Black ancient "roman" in Egypt..

As the time goes by we collect more and more informations about ancient Egypt and it is clear that Ancient Egypt civilization can be included in the group of ancient black african civilization..along with Mali Empire ..Kingdom Of Ghana.. Benin Empire.. Nok Civilization... Kingdom Of Kush ....Songhai Empire... Axum Empire

Ancient Romans used to enslave almost every one they met...
From England to Babylon.. from Germany to Morocco.. from Portugal to Ukraine.. from France to Egypt..

Ancient Roman were not racist in the sense they were looking at the color of your skin.

They didn't care less about that..

Rome was a multicultural society.. there were Romans from everywhere.. from Scotland... Holland.. Germany.. France Spain... Portugall... Morocco... Lybia... Egypt/Sudan/Ethiopia.. Arabia.. Jews.. Assirians.. Babylonians .. Turks.. Greeks.. Bulgarian.. Romanian.. Hungary .. Austria.. Switzerland.. Russia...

What made it different was were you a Citizen or not... if you were not a Citizen you were nobody.... but if you were a Citizen..then the color of your skin was not important...

Ancient roman legion...The legendary African Theban Legions

General was Maurice ( a future Catholic Saint.. well known in all Euorpe) a roman Citizen from Sudan..

Rome was based on slavery., as Egypt,.... but not based on racism..( Egypt was a completely mixed society )

Maiherpri had a Nubian background. So far I haven't seen any other Egyptian mummies who have a similar appearance as Maiherpri. This is why I question those who say that the Egyptians originally came from Nubia. If this was the case then more Egyptian mummies would be looking like Maiherpri. So can anyone provide some links showing more Egyptian mummies who look similar to Maiherpri?

This is the the Lady Rai with Afro hair. Egyptians mummy King Valley (c. 1570/1560 – 1530 BC)

I think that there are enough historical proofs to confirm that some or many ancient Egyptians were black-african....

Anyway the ancient roman portraits of black africans (Egyptian sarcophagus) are enough to proove that in Egypt, during Roman time,.. there were black people.. ( from Sudan-Ethiopia. ? ).. who were in the high level of society...

Not sure you can stream it in your part of the world.
What is the show about African culture that you mentioned in the first post?
It's also streaming for free on Amazon Prime, if you have it.

It's just the Black numbers might not be as large as some think. If the Egyptians and Nubians were the same people as some believe and if EVERY west African tribe originally came from Egypt as some believe then we should be seeing more wooly haired Egyptian mummies like Maiherpri.

The problem is that some Americans try to impose 21st century American racial identities and concepts on ancient peoples,
especially Egypt. I would say Nubia/Kush was a black civilization, Egypt was a mixed civilization, but there was overlap in
that some Nubians could have been born in Egypt and raised in Egyptian culture and considered Egyptians. Nubians seemed
to be integrated at all levels of Egyptian culture.

There was no "Jim Crow" Race as we understand it today did not develop until laws were passed making slavery race-based
in the New World identities of "Black" and "White" developed then.

As far as the Romans, I read if an American went back in time and asked a Roman if he/she was "White" they probably would
have been run out of town, or hung upside down.

It'll be interesting to see how these current DNA test play out on this. So far the Egyptian mummies tested from the new and middle kingdoms are showing Eurasian mummies.

New kingdom DNA results:

Scientists thought ancient Egyptian mummies didn

They could still be integrated in Egyptian society as a minority which would explain why most of the mummies are Eurasian.
