Perhaps you should consider leaving the military so you can be deprogrammed. Do you think the only people who read books by black authors are...black?

Who said I was serving or ever served? I'm just a dark south Asian posing as a black man obsessed with black culture. Boy! I sure wish I was black!

And South Africa is just a safe city full of non-rapists.

Don't let me stop you from your ignorance, please continue.

Well, if the one Rocko describes is at all typical, it means early intervention in childhood is necessary, with trauma therapy for PTSD, and continued therapy and support, to heal the wounds from his own rape/s.

The documentary I saw was actually the same one in the OP, the interview with the serial rapist who has HIV starts at 23:24. Toward the end of the interview he says he was raped as a child and he carried on that culture of rape as an adult. He doesn't want to "die a lone" so he rapes as many as he can, sadly infecting his victims with HIV.

Very eye opening.

I don't have the credentials to go into the specifics of the personality pathology but my hunch is some individuals that go through severe trauma become attached to reliving the trauma(I think they get fixated on the trauma and take it in to the point it becomes part of their inner core). I sense some view human interactions in terms of being weak(prey) or strong(predator) there is very little sophisticated analysis that goes on. I suspect some somehow feel they are reversing what happened temporarily when they take on the role of the strong one(the predator) almost like they are reversing roles with the predator that wounded them. This is just my perception.

Culture plays a big part as well and if one is from a culture where men aren't supposed to feel it complicates healing. I think it is impossible to process one's thoughts and memories about a painful event without remembering and discussing the painful details. In remembering the details well uncomfortable emotions such feeling no power over one's body surfaces(too much for someone with the black and white thinking I mentioned can cope with). I think the essence of that little 5 year old boy that was raped(just and example) exists in even in that grown predator. Some cultural norms are hostile to any type of intervention that could help. These are just some thoughts I was pondering over.

It’s photoshopped. I’m a random dark South Asian wannabe black American who randomly hates South Africa and reads Eurocentric propaganda produced by black American scholars.
