You do realize that African Americans were brought to this country, had to deal with Jim Crow laws white people didn't have to deal with, couldn't vote or own a home. When slaves were freed how do you think black people lived? Could they just get jobs? Why are black people being killed by the police today? That is because too many white people don't see people of color as equivalent. What happened to Black Wall Street?

To the other posters, African Americans will be seen as foreigners no doubt about that. But you will be treated with respect and better than the Africans in whatever country you are in, that is why the foreigners that move to African countries don't want to leave. Why would you want to be considered a Ghanan when you are born an American? Be who you are and bring your energies and ideas to the continent where they will be appreciated.

African countries are growing fast that is why there are so many foreigners there right now. To not participate in the growth well I think you are missing out. If the USA is home, I hope you visit the continent regardless but I think a place where you don't have to worry about driving while being black, or being shot for having a cell phone in your hands or having a gun pointed at your head because your kid took a $1 toy gives me a peace of mind. Dr. Du Bois and Marcus Garvey got it right!

There are other places African Americans can go than Africa and experience true freedom, just travel!

Africa isn't for everybody and has issues but if you have vision, are making money, and stay for 6 months to a year it will be difficult to move back to the US.

Homelessness is rising in the USA what percent of the population are people of color? Jails can't wait for you to visit, schools can't wait to evoke the systematic mental slavery upon the youth, your color gives the trigger happy police the right to kill you, and the morgues are happy to take your money. Mental health is rising amongst people of color.

Africans that migrated go home, yes there are benefits in coming to America but don't fool yourself when I see videos like the one below it doesn't make sense to stay. What ever you love about the USA bring it to Africa. I know Africa isn't for everyone but seek asylum in countries like Singapore end the racial terrorism no place is worth this type of abuse.
