I agree, South Africa will go the same way as Zimbabwe.They have just elected Jacob Zuma as their leader, a man that most South Africans knew was corrupt before the election.Mugabe turned what was the ' Bread basket of Africa' into a disease ridden wasteland, I hope South Africa takes note of that.
I visited Joberg approx. 5-6 years ago. It seemed to be a very spread out city and had some very nice areas. But there was an uncomfortable feeling driving in an area with all black people for a white person.
If it does happen, then that is the end of South Africa. It will end with a bloody civil war with the whites fighting the blacks and the blacks will all be fighting amongst themselves.
Sad that people they create wealth by seizing it instead of working hard for it and using ones god given creative skills.
Zimbabwe is too far gone now and I think once the last of the white farmers is gone the infighting will start as it always does.
In 2012 it is estimated that less than 50,000 Whites still live in Zim.
Those are the few elite whites that have benefited from Mugandes dictatorship. Their children usually play for the cricket or rugby team. Most go to Europe to live after Uni, but still play professional for Zim.
The rest are to old and to poor to leave. So they live in squalor until Death greets them.
Just back from Johannesburg. The suburbs mostly seemed nice. The city itself, not as bad as I thought but, South Africa has had a huge influx of illegal immigrants from Nigeria and it has not helped the city.
