Ah, fair enough. Beachwood and Mayfield might be a waste of your time if you're looking for something new. It looks like you're on the right track.

Twinsburg Township has several upscale newer housing developments. Low taxes, free garbage pick up!

And a notorious public housing project known as "the Heights". Be careful where you locate...

Twinsburg township has a very odd layout - it is kind of long and stretched out between the towns of Macedonia, Hudson, and Twinsburg. The housing projects are located pretty far from the newer developments, which border on Macedonia and Hudson (some of them back up to very nice, upscale Hudson neighborhoods). My biggest concern with these areas of Twinsburg township would be the proximity to the industrial park areas in the town of Twinsburg, although the neighborhoods themselves seem pretty quiet and peaceful.

Those industries are why the taxes are so low. Quite frankly, I'd rather have them as neighbors than the projects.

There was a ballot issue to merge Twinsburg city into Twinsburg township a few years ago. It passed in the city and failed in the township.

I live in Twinsburg, it is nice housing is realistic, lower taxes than Solon.
Solon looks run down to me...just my opinion. People are VERY nice in Twinsburg. Twinsburg is more up and coming than Solon.

I have a house for sale check it out. If I can't sell we would consider to rent. We will be leaving in early July or sooner if necessary.
7767 Bradford Park Lane. Rent would be right around 1500/mo. No dog (lots of hardwood), cats ok.

LOL very unbiased information there. Do you happen to sell used cars Lizzy? If not, you should.

Twinsburg Heights has more single family houses than Section 8 housing and the crime there is next to nothing. The area runs from Rte 82 up to Haddon Rd. It's really a very small area. Btw, the official name is Twinsburg Township however residents call it Twinsburg Heights.

You have a house in TWINSBURG OHIO that you want to rent for $1500 a month? Why don't YOU live there yourself?

Are you serious? That's the going rate for homes in much more fashionable areas than Twinsburg.

I looked at the listing and the house is waaaay over priced. Typical mini-McMansion.

As a former landlord, dogs are much easier on a house than cats ever will be. Cats and hardwood? Wonderful combo.

I'm not putting down Twinsburg, but the OP can get a much less expensive home in that area.
