Looking for suburban/semi rural area near Canton (Cleveland, Massillon: to rent, house)

Hi: I'm looking for a suburban or semi rural area to rent within commuting distance to Canton. I'm willing to commute up to 45 mins.

We're in our 40's - don't care about bars or nightlife. We would like a quiet area to rent a house within 10 mins of stores.

That would, in one way or another, describe a 10-15 mile radius around Canton; it would swing from suburban to semi-rural depending on which end of town you're located at the time.

If you'd like to be more specific we could perhaps give you some more concrete suggestions.

Thanks. I'll try to be a little more specific. I currently live outside Rochester NY in a semi-rural area. By that I mean we have a small grocery store, a CVS and a McDonald's within a couple mins. Anything else store, convenience wise is 15-20 mins from my house. I live near lots of open land, farms, etc.

I'm looking for that same type of area. I don't want neighbors right on top of me. I love nature and open spaces and am looking for that type of feel around Canton.

Just south of Canton/Massillon is semi-rural but quick access to expressways and some local shopping. For instance Canton South (Canton Township) has lots of open space but a strip of plazas along Cleveland Ave SW that would give you access to day to day shopping. If you want to be in Stark County I would suggest looking south of Canton/Massillon or East/Northeast of Canton. Most of those areas area semi-rural but close enough to grocery stores, Wal-Mart, that type of stuff.
