Default Canton - Akron - Medina area???

We will be moving to this area in early summer of 2008. My husband is already there as he had a wonderful business opportunity and went for it. We are moving from the Atlanta suburbs (which we love). Biggest concerns are schools for our 9 year old and I will be looking for a position in the H.R. field. We are seeing positives about North Canton and Medina. What other areas should we consider - or not?
Thanks in advance.

If you're looking in Summit County, Cuyahoga Falls is a nice area, as is Stow. Don't know so much about the Canton area altho Green is nice (on the Akron/Canton border).
As for Medina....used to be more farm land than anything...has blossomed the last few years into suburbia heaven, complete with a lot of shopping (Target, WalMart, Borders, Jo-Ann Fabric & Craft Stores, Old Navy....) and restaurants (Longhorn, Damons, Applebees, etc.) and many new developments.
Let me know if there is anything specific you are looking for - i have lived in the Northeastern Ohio area (Brunswick & Akron specifically) for 27 years and I know the surrounding communities as well.
