I am relocating from DC to North Canton for a job. I would like to find a best place to live for Asian family near my new office in North Canton. I checked criminal record surrounding areas, it seems all good anywhere north from North Canton. Other than the record, it is hard to find what is like out there. If any local has a recommendation, feel free to drop your lines.

Just depends what you are looking for. For instance, the only areas I know with any sort of Asian concentration aren't professional/white collar nor suburban. I think most of the suburbs sport a 1-2% smattering of Asian population. If you are moving from DC to here for a job I presume it is decent, so for suburbs North Canton, Jackson, Plain, Green, Copley, Fairlawn, Bath, Stow, Hudson, parts of Cuyahoga Falls, etc. would probably do it. North-Northwestern suburbs are going to be a little more diverse in general than southern suburbs. If you want to live in the city or older professional/white collar neighborhood(s) Northwest Akron would be the place to look.

I relocated from NY last year and live in North Canton (actually just north of the city limits in Lake Township but N.Canton School district) and couldn't be more pleased.

You will find many pleasant choices.

I live in munroe falls (right next to stow) and i love it here. Its about 35 minutes from canton and its a nice town. We have a great library, good schools, and good stores. Hudson is really nice with cute shops and stuff... But its kind of expensive.

This is very helpful! My husband might take a job in East Canton! So it is a pretty easy commute from the Stow and Hudson area??

At the very least, you're looking at 40-45 minutes with little traffic. With heavy traffic (e.g. morning rush hour slogging down Route 8 into Akron), you're talking more like 1:00+. Unless you're used to 90 minute commutes, that might not be very pleasant.

Consider Jackson or North Canton if you're commuting from East Canton. Just as nice as the other areas mentioned in this thread.
