Streetsboro? (Cleveland, Akron, Canton: crime rate, neighborhood, middle school)

Is there anyone out there that can tell me good points about Streetsboro? I am currently living in a suburb of Cleveland and am tired of dealing with the crime rate and the yuck of inner city.

I would like to know about the area. Could someone tell me about my possible new neighborhood?

I have a 9 year old son who will be attending public school, so any insight would be greatly appreciated.

I live in Streetsboro off St Rt 43.Been there for 17 years almost. Alot of people are moving from the suburbs of Cleveland for a quieter "life".
If you want some peace and tranquilty,Streetsboro does offer that.
The school system has achieved "continous improvement" grades,especially in the elementry and middle school levels.
As far your social life goes,outside of work..Streetsboro offers little.
Theres dining options here and not much more. Shopping wise theres Target,K-Mart and Super Wal Mart.
Car dealerships are numerous on the landscape.
Streetsboro is in a good location though....30 minutes from Cleveland and Akron. 1 hour from Penn.border and 45 minutes from Canton.
There are nice subdivisons off Frost Road and Page Road.
