Rentals in Canton Area? (Alliance, Green: hardwood floors, apartments, how much)

I am moving to back to Ohio late April and looking for a house or an apartment to rent in the New Philadelphia, Dover and/or Canton area. I was born & raised near Alliance but husband is taking a job position in New Philadelphia and doesn't want to drive back and forth from Alliance to New Philly (even though we currently live in BFE South Dakota and do a 1 hour drive one way to get anywhere, he doesn't realize how much closer the cities are to each other in Ohio)

Anyway, can anyone recommend some NICE apartment places in the safer side of Canton (haven't lived in Ohio since 1996) Hoping for 2 or 3 bedrooms, maybe a fitness center- or a house with a nice yard for my 9 month old son

I guess nice is a pretty broad term, I like the Greentree apartments in Canton. It is an old tudor style apartment built in 1926. Historic isn't for everyone I guess, there isnt a fitness center or anything like that. Some of the apartments have 3 bedrooms and 2 baths with huge fireplaces though. I think some of the larger apartments are around 1200-1500 sq feet, Plus the owner really cares for the building. They have a website at greentreerentals.com. Of course Canton is a good 30 minute drive to New Philadelphia.

uh.. hardwood floors, HUGE fireplaces and OLD metal room furnaces- not very child friendly and definite huge concerns when I have an infant who will be learning to walk when we move.

I am looking for something newer- carpet is a must
