House To Rent In Akron, Stow, Canton, Green Area (Cuyahoga Falls: 2009, apartments)

I will be working in Akron downtown from 1st of Fubruary. I would like to rent a single family house in stow, canton, green... etc area. I am not in the US at the moment. It is quite difficult to find a rental house from the internet. What must I do? Any help on this matter appretiated.

www.realtor.com (click on rentals) 44312 (zip code for ellet and uniontown) which are near Green. You can put in Green, Oh too. some realtors will list rental homes they are managing.
www.ohio.com (Akron Beacon Journal newspaper) closest big newpaper to Green.
I'm not sure if Stow has a local newspaper like the "west/south side leader"

If schools are not an issue, Ellet is a pretty decent community. cwproperties have rentals there.

Also, I am not affiliated with any of the above suggestions, just knew about them.

Stow has a great little newspaper called the Stow Sentry.
Canton and Green are both a bit far from downtown Akron. I suggest you check the Akron Beacon Journal newspaper online and look for rentals along West Market St., west of Merriman Road, in Akron, Fairlawn and Montrose. These areas have a lot of apartments and they are nice areas with all the stores and shopping you might need, and a short drive to downtown.

How 'bout weekly rentals? is there any such thing in the akron area? I will be in akron the last two/three weeks in august and would prefer renting than staying in a hotel.

The area around the zoo is not nice. I would not recommend renting in that area (sorry Elwood Bluze).

Could you stay at a Marriott Residence Inn (or similar hotel) for two weeks to a month while you look for a home?

That's great Elwood, unfortunately if you had looked at the poster's date of opening the thread you'd see it was in 2006, hence, they were probably looking for a house to rent in Feb. of 2007, not 2009! Not to mention the poster never returned after that (at least they haven't posted since then). Just thought I'd point that out, plus you should probably private message that kind of thing anyways, don't believe you are supposed to post personal advertisements on this forum.
