I don't think there would be a problem with having a bi-racial son in Massillon. I think Massillon has a fair mix of people living there.

I don't know about jobs. What would you be looking for? I'd secure a job before making the move.

Aultman and Mercy Hospitals in Canton are pretty good. You're also close (maybe 20 minutes) to Akron General.

A highly ranked facility (among the top 4 in America) - Cleveland Clinic is about an hour drive from Massillon but it's an easy drive and Massillon is largely considered part of the Cleveland metro. There are also plenty of other suburban hospitals that would be just fine.

It looks like there are two of you considering making Massillon your new home...
If you are looking for a welcoming, friendly and warm church, I grew up there, and more recently, lived there for about 8 years after my father passed away, leaving Mom alone and already ill herself.......
I'm now back in Texas.... but most recently lived there from '98 to '06....
When I moved back in '98, I returned to the same church I had grown up in many years ago, and would highly recommend it, for a number of reasons.....

I sold a house in Massillon when I left to return to Texas, and I miss the house TERRIBLY!!!
