Best Place for Steak? (Canton/Massillon)? (Sparta: house, restaurant, food)

What restaurant has the best steak in your opinion in Canton or Massillon? Thinking of eating out tonight. So far my favorite place for food here is Romano's Macaroni Grill. I love that place, but husband wants a place with more steak options

One place that is not a chain is Sparta Steakhouse and Lounge, located on 12th St NW, near downtown. That area is sketchy, but the food there is amazing!

Thanks! I will have to check it out. We ended up going to Longhorns at The Strip that night. That place was definitely GREAT! So far that place and Macaroni Grill are my favorite places in Canton to eat

This doesn't help you out. But there used to be a real steak house in Bear Creek--south of the Canton/Massillon area. It was in the basement of an old, church. At the bottom of the stairs, you were greeted by a stuffed bear. And, the ceiling was covered in neckties. (If you wore a necktie, either your server or the manager would come out, cut it off, and hang it from the ceiling.) They even had the "if you can eat this 'x' lbs steak, it's free" offer. Unfortunately, it burned down almost 20 years ago. (probably from all the neckties hanging from the ceiling)
