Default Lou & Hy's

Hello all I am actually the son of the owner of Lou and Hy's My friend sent me this link and I have read your posts. We enjoyed all of our customers and I do miss our restaurant as well. My dad actually still makes cheesecakes on special request. Let me know if you are interested in purchasing one. If you guys still want some menus let me know I would be happy to send some to you.

Thanks,

Ian

How about the recipe for Lou & Hys chicken noodle soup. The best medicine for a cold or the flu!

Can anyone help with the Matzoh Ball recipe from Lou and Hys. It was simply the best. I can never get mine to be just right. Theirs was always on the heavy side. If possible please recommend the name of the Matzoh meal they used.

Gee, I've never found a good pastrami sandwich since they closed....nice and fatty, with the grease running down my arm. Awesome.

I have a take out menu that's a little beat up. It's not for sale, but I'd be happy to scan it for you if you'd like.

Hello - hope you're still out there - I'd love to have a scanned copy of the menu if at all possible. They had the best rye bread, and some kind of liver spread, and some kind of peppery relish spread that was out of this world. Thanks.

Hello - I fondly remember having catered food at my former employers, and it was a tray of wonderful rye bread, a liver spread, and a diced pepper spread - how I would love to learn how to make these. Maybe if I saw a menu, it might list the ingredients and I can try. We miss Lou & Hy's! Would love to have a copy or scan of a menu if you would be so kind. Thanks!
