Default Comparing Twinsburg to Streetsboro

The wife and I are about to being our home searching process. We are pretty much looking at Twinsburg and Streetsboro. Does or has anyone lived in either of these places that can shed some light on what each has to offer. I am comparing everything from schools, to taxes, to entertainment. Looking to keep it under 200k.

Any input is appreciated!

i know both areas pretty well. Streetsboro is much more "hickish" than Twinsburg. winsburg is on the up and up. Streetsboro has more of a white population, but T-Burg may have better schools. GL

Generally, the schools tend to rate a little better in Twinsburg than Macedonia (Nordonia district).

Overall, there isn't much difference between the two - Macedonia is closer to the big shopping chains like Wal-mart, and I think is probably more affordable than Twinsburg.

Twinsburg has a larger area of industrial park.

I sub in Macedonia schools (AKA Nordonia Hills city schools bc the cities of Northfield, Macedonia and Sagamore Hills make up the school's population.)
I would seriously consider living in Sagamore Hills--just west of Macedonia. Its quiet, safe, and close to everything....good luck!

I just moved from Twinsburg out of state. Twinsburg seems to have more of a community than Macedonia. Nordia has a large school district. Twinsburg has about 20,000 people with a good strong 20% black population. Living in Twinsburg I did all of my shopping in Streetsboro because Macedonia is congested and a pain to navigate. The Super Walmart is the bomb. Streetboro is more "hickish" than Twinsburg but if that's what you're used then no big deal. Housing in Twinsburg is more expensive than Streetsboro. We just sold our 4 bedroom 2001 built house in Twinsburg for 300,000 our taxes were 4400.

Good luck!!
