Check craigslist.com akron/canton area. also try akron.com click on west side leader, then classified ads, rent apartments. the akron.com website is for a free newspaper for the west akron, copley, fairlawn, bath and richfield area. you will probably find it somewhat difficult to find an apartment to rent in richfield, but in the surrounding areas should be easier. ohio.com is for the akron beacon journal and the closest areas to richfield would be west akron/ fairlawn/ peninsula. I am not sure how far you would want to commute, etc.
there is an extended day america nearby if you get in a pinch. if you are looking for a house to rent you can try cwproperties.com.
