Default Drop-In Daycare

My husband and I are looking for a drop-in daycare in Akron for our kids ages 2 and 6. Just a nice center we can take them to for when we want to go see a movie or out to eat ALONE, or for when I want to go shopping or grocery shopping without the kids. I just moved to Akron from Minneapolis and we had a few drop-in daycares, including "Club Kid" (clubkidfun.com). Does anybody know of one?

Did you try the YMCA? Other than that, maybe advertise @ your 6 year old's school. Its amazing how many people in Akron need extra $$. That way at least you know that the person is a parent and they probably will live close to you. Good way to meet new people in an area you are new to. Join the PTA, maybe you can trade with the other mothers/fathers. They watch your kids and then you watch theirs. Just an option, good luck!!

JCC does nights like that occasionally, but it's on their schedule, not individuals.
