I don't think it will be a problem per se, but it will extend your commute.
Route 8 through the central interchange during rush hour hovers at somewhere between 40 and 5 miles an hour.
For instance, I typically will get off Route 8 and cut across the city to get back to I-77 as opposed to sitting in slow-moving traffic. Worst case scenario it's a wash.
You would save some time being on the other side of the interchange like htlong suggested, like south side of Firestone Park, Portage Lakes, etc.
But if you like south Cuyahoga Falls it's not insurmountable. Just tack an extra 10-20 mins onto your commute.
