Default Abandoned Home in Jemison

I am interested in information on an abandoned home in Jemison. It is located at 16129 County Road 51. My husband & I are very interested in purchasing this home and would like some information. If you know anything about this home or who I could contact about this home, please email me at aatkinson4642@earthlink.net. We would appreciate any information anyone can give us.

Default The easiest way to approach this

would be to get the owner's name from the county tax records and then contact them.

i was able to get the mortgage company name from the courthouse. now if i can just get the mortgage company to return my call. the house was foreclosed and bid on by the mortgage company therefore it is in the real estate owned department. does anyone know how hard it is to buy a house when it has made it to that stage? the home needs a LOT of repairs since it has been vacant for so long, but we are willing to purchase as is and do the repairs ourselves, just don't know how hard it is going to be to purchase from the mortgage company.
