Looking for affordable apartment...
I tried searching the web on many different sites for apartments, and came up with nothing...
I'm trying to find a cheap but decint apartment in eithe Albertville, Guntersville, or Boaz, Alabama...
First off, my price range is probably alittle low, but it's all I have to work with... $250.00 or less....
Probably won't find anything, but, It's worth a try...
I've found apartments close to my range, but, not close enough...
Me and My boyfriend talked about different things regarding this matter, and we're not looking for anything special, we don't need all the fancy ammenties that other people would like to have, we are just starting out, and just want this.....
1 bedroom
1 bath
$250.00 or less
In one of three cities, Albertville, Guntersville, or Boaz, Alabama
Nothing fancy, just livable...
Please help us out, we are planing to move around November, December, or January....
Please and Thank You
Symphony and Dion

Did you try the Sand Mountain Reporter? Sand Mountain Reporter
It may be tough trying to find a place that cheap, even on Sand Mountain.
Several years ago, a friend of mine from Snead, AL (about 20 minutes from Boaz) lived in some cheap apartments for like $200 per month. That was 8 years ago though. I think those apartments were the only ones in Snead.
If you can't find an apartment, trailers are an inexpensive option.
Good luck!

I wish you luck, but think finding something for $250 is going to be difficult. Maybe the trailer is a good idea.

here are a few apartments, i'm not sure what their price range is, but you can always call and see, ( or check to see if they may have a web site)
colony in alabertville ( area codes are 256) 8913800
brookwood ( i think these are pretty cheap) in Alb. 8910259
fox run apts, these are alright and i think might also pretty cheap in Boaz 5932256
meadowwood boaz 5938006
meadowbrook boaz 5936316 these are pretty cheap( i think)
sundown apt in boaz ( has a pool)5938579
there is always the Housing Authority office( income based houses\apartments) 256-593-9164
as the other person had stated, you may also want to think about renting a trailer... they actualy rent pretty reasonable and are usualy nice.
hope some of this info helped.

Have you factored in all of your other costs like electricity, water, food and such? There will be fees for starting up all of those services. Even at 250$, which will be very hard to find, they will still want first and last months rent before you move in.
