Question Employment??

Could someone tell me what kind of employment there is near Ft Payne? if any? What town would have the best employment for my son that has experience in working for the city water dept? He knows all phases of water management. He also has a cdl class b license. He could do something possibly with that. Any ideas? He works in neighborhoods right now fixing water main breaks, leaks. He has worked with the sub stations. I don't think many people in Alabama have sewer right ? mostly septic. Maybe he could do something with that. Thanks in advance. Donna

In addition to Ft. Payne, look north and south along the I-59 corridor. There are several possible communities for him to investigate within 30 minutes' drive time.

Cities in Alabama usually do have sewer systems. Septic is mostly unincorporated county areas. Public water is in most areas, as well, unless very rural.

OK, about water systems...most of these are municipal or construction under some kind of water authority. It might be kind of hard to get a job...lots of nepotism and good-ol-boyism. BUT, if he has a skill, he might be able to find something fairly quickly.
