what do the folks do for interenet and tv in the country. I know we have will have electric and county water, but unsure on the other services. I'm not sure how well wireless works.????

Directv or dish both work fine for tv. Internet can be dial-up, sometimes DSL, satellite, or ISDN.

Your post regarding Internet & TV, your info gives you being in Brandon Florida just off 75 and near Tampa? This is an Alabama Forum if you are in Alabama then you might have a problem, like I do, but if you are in Brandon Florida then I do not think you got a problem.

In the city here you can get it all, we live in the country and you can forget it, but I got Wireless DSL and am on the fringe and not at all happy but it's best I can do, now I know why my realitor gave us two dozen carrier pidgons as a welcome gift

I would think your realtor would be able to tell you what services are available in that area. How far are you away from the city of Ft Payne? Find out who provides cable and phone service in that area.. most cable companies now offer internet service. Call them and ask about service on your street/road. If you live up on a mountain with no other houses then there may not be cable..
If you post the area maybe someone on this forum can give you a little more info..
