Default Check out Arab for sure!
It's funny that a few people said to check out Arab because that is the first town I thought of when I read your initial message. We have been to Arab a few times and we really liked it! A lot of mountains and not a bad commute to Huntsville. We have been there a few times....nice community with no Interstate traffic but yet they have a 4-lane to Huntsville!

We are in SE Iowa but wanting to move South....considering Auburn, AL for us.

We movved to North Al.{Tuscumbia} a year ago from Fl. and have found it a easy adjustment.The people are friendly and helpful,medical service are good and handy.Shopping is close by with a number of parks and many activities.A number of house for rent or sale.
