Hi everyone!

I too am from Michigan and new to the Montgomery area. I miss Michigan's many waterfronts, but don't miss the snow and cold. It's different down here and will take some getting use to.

My whole family and all of our mates are transplants from Metro Detroit area. (We don't really miss the snow, but that's mainly a health thing.)

Wink Another transplanted michigander

My hubby and I are from Lansing, Michigan, and have lived in the Center Point area for the last 5 years. We really love the WARMER climate, both in the weather and the people. We miss our family up there, but the climate in Michigan is getting bad when we left, both weather and financial, as Oldsmobile went out of business.

Glad to see there's other Michiganders here!

We should all get together and have some POP!
