Just here from the Metro area after 10 years. Been here since March. Miss Lake Michigan ALOT! But love the traffic volumes and population density in HSV.

I live in Northern MI but am looking to move to AL in May of 2008 after I graduate from nursing school. I have been looking into working at Huntsville hospital. I have read on their website that they are building a new hospital in Madison Co. Does anyone know exactly where? Any suggestions on nice places to live in the area? I have 2 children and am looking for a good place to raise them. I love the area that I am in now BUT it is very expensive and the economy in MI is horrible!

I assume you are talking about the new hospital that is being discussed for Madison. Although I personally hope that Huntsville Hosp. will be the one to build it, the decision has not been finalized between Crestwood and HH as to who will build. There is also a chance that no hospital will be approved, a decision is supposed to be made in the next week or two. If HH builds, it will be on property they already own on Hwy 72.

I've heard that Crestwood supposedly has options on land north of Lowe's on Hwy 72 somewhere. Either way, they're close to each other. Nothing's too far from anything else around here.

I'm still in the process of moving from Livingston Co. Michigan to Alabama. I haven't sold my house here yet but there is some activity, can't wait until I'm done. I have no desire to ever see snow again I'd rather see the 80 plus all year long given a choice. Goodbye winter wonder land.
