I am from Albertville. I left and moved to Indiana for work. Albertville is a big small town. Bad Hispanic problem and bad drug problem. It is a very busy place. Guntersville, Albertville, and Boaz kind of run together. I will say it is a beautiful area and a lot of good churches there. There are great areas in country close to these towns if you do not want to be right in the middle of the hussle and bussle of the cities. All of my family live in the Sand Mountain area and that is probably where I will retire too when that time comes.

Marshall County is a swell place to hang your hat. You can fill all your needs here, be it recreation, stores, restaurants, churches, and above all - friendly people. Good paying jobs are here somewhere, but alot of people seem to work In Huntsville or Gadsden area. I merely said the Albertville would probably be my last choice to live in the county

What the heck is a bad hispanic problem?? Is it contagious? Is it as bad as the redneck problem?

Default Am I Correct About Alberetville...

Albertville is like any other city really. There are great areas, and not so great areas to live. Jobs are not very plentiful because of the bad economy. Actually, the jobs would be retail, restaurant, and other low paying jobs. There is plenty of stores and restaurants to go to. Once the housing market comes back, builders will boom again. Gas is now $1.39, but if you don't have $$$, it don't matter. If your relocating from somewhere else, and you have a few bucks, you can really get steals on housing. Taxes and insurance are low, so thats a few items for the good side. Education is very good. Check with Keeper how things might be in Arab, and jobs in Huntsville. Hope this helps....
