Crime is like anywhere else, you have good areas and bad areas, but do not think it is any different than where we came from it not less?

Housing is reasonable and affordable, why we moved here.

Two things I did not do my homework on was boating & Nite life, have to trailer boat further than I really want to, so may have to sell it, and for a city the size of Dothan we are not finding the nite life we are acustomed too, but will keep looking.

I love living in Dothan. If you have kids you will not be disappointed. There are lots of new stores popping up, i feel safe. There are things to do here but most is family oriented I think. If you have kids check out the garden district or the west side of town. There are some good schools- I would check the zoning before I moved. There are also plenty of private schools to choose from that are reasonable.
