Default Still wonder about Tellico Village

My husband and I are retired and moved to Phoenix from Michigan. We are not sure if this is for us. We have friends moving to Tellico Village and I have visited it. I was impressed with how far your housing dollar goes, as compared to Phoenix. I know that Tellico has a lot of residents from the midwest and was wondering how they like it there? The brochure from Tellico shows a lot of clubs one can join, did anyone join any and if so did they feel welcomed? Humidity? I know there is some, more or less then Michigan ( in the summer)? I am taking my husband to TN in October to visit. He's a great guy who can live anywhere but Florida because of the humidity. He can spend hours on a computer but I need people!!!!!!!!!!

Any suggestions?

I lived in Loudon for years - about a mile from the Tellico Village resort community.

But from someone growing up in Loudon. I would suggest that you and your husband spend couple of days there and be sure to visit towns surrounding the Village, including Knoxville, to decide if the Village and Tennessee is where you and your husband want to live.
