Hello, I wanted to know how is Montgomery, AL working out for you and your family. I am also considering moving there coming from the DC Area. I got a job offer but I'm unsure because I have heard a lot of negative things about Montgomery. Any input?

I have heard a lot of negative things about DC and really enjoyed my two years there.

Auburn is a "nicer" area on average...There are more millionaires per capita, the population is more educated, property values are higher, crime is lower, public schools are better, etc. but Montgomery has more things to do just because of the huge difference in population.
