That is a pretty broad area. There are 2 buildings here in Arab that were restaurants, good size restaurants at one time. The problem in this area is it is a dry city and most restaurants want to sell alcohol to make more money.
What kind of food? Do you want to sell alcohol?
Those are the kind of things that can make or break you.
We have a few good little homestyle and mexican restaurants here but other than that it is FAST food.. If you want a steak you go to the mexican restaurant..
Good Luck..

We could sure use a good meat-and-three in far south Huntsville, and I think the old Shoney's in Haysland Square (So. Memorial Parkway) would make a great location and is vacant at this time.

Hate to say it, but Athens could use a good restaurant or two. If you ask around to find the best food, you'll get directed to Applebys or Ruby Tuesday. That is a sad commentary. I'd like to say kind things about the local Mexican restaurants, bless their hearts, but I've had Mexican tv dinners that were as good. Pulaski is worse.

We need a meat and three in the research park area in Huntsville. Rosies will be moving to their new location soon leaving old location empty.

There's a former Schlotsky's location on North Parkway on the west side between Max Luther and Sparkman, too. Great spot for inbound morning eats, especially.

Blue Plate stays packed (waiting list) serving breakfast and lunch only with a meat and three menu. If you could open something like that, it would be welcomed in the research park area. Assuming Blue Plate isn't already ahead of you in the search for another location...

What does "interested in this opportunity" mean? Send you money?

Please:

A) Don't open another chain restaurant,
B) Don't open another BBQ joint, they all taste the same anyway
C) Don't open another generic meat+3, family, plain, boring, restaurant
D) Don't open another generic Chinese restaurant
E) Don't open another generic Mexican restaurant
F) Don't open another mediocre deli
G) Don't open another wing joint
H) Don't open anything within 500 meters of an auto repair business, a rental car shop, a junk yard, or anything else ugly to look at out the window while eating

Consider:

A) Quality ethnic, preferably with employees who are "fresh off the boat"
B) A kabob place that isn't run by a bunch of local high school kids
C) Something hole in the wall
D) Persian
E) Armenian
F) Good Jewish deli
G) Something with ambiance, enjoyable to sit in
