If you visit the Helen Keller home in Tuscumbia, try to go when the "Miracle Worker" play is held there ( in June I believe ), in the very backyard where many of the actual events took place, including the water pump ( original or at least restored ) event. Very enjoyable.

Default Honet Feedback about area

Hi everyone. Been visiting the Foley area for the last 4-5 years anticipating a move there. We have our house up for sale and seriously looking at specific area. Foley. We had a builder ready but then found out there were water moccasins. We've talked to several while down there and seem to be getting an overall theme about snake issues. More than normal. Can anyone please let me know an honest feedback. Do you deal with snakes a lot. I know it is the South and we've lived in Central Florida so aware that there are snakes - we just don't want to worry all the time about our small dogs and kids. Feedback needed please -

Only if you live next to a wooded area, otherwise you'll seldom see them.
