I wandered if there are alot of hispanics in Russellville, if there are, are they assimilating, i just wandered cause i went to Russellville recently and noticed many hispanics there, on the road and in the fast food joints, and shops, and i wandered how you guys feel about hispanics in russellville?

Considering you saw Hispanics in Russelville, they're probably there. They have a tough time assimilating, the adults mostly, due to the language barrier. Of course bigotry is a factor, unfortunately, as most people assume they are all illegals. I'm sure many are, but law enforcement doesn't care, so new immigration laws are pretty pointless.

I'm cool with Hispanics in Russellville. Tends to take a generation for them to get good in English. But their kids sure are well behaved.

And obviously, keeps new housing prices lower.

Why is there a large Hispanic population in Russellville? Is there a poultry-processing plant?

Yes.
Albertville, however, seems to be the big center for both processing plants and Latinos.

Best Mexican restaurant I ever ate at was in Albertville. I don't recall the name, unfortunately. Great service and great food. A car dealer told me about it. I'm sure someone here (or in Albertville) would know exactly where I'm talking about.
