lol well hopefully the south secedes and forms their own little country again. This time the rest of these "terrible liberal areas" aren't going to care enough to come save you from yourselves. Instead, we'll be sitting back laughing and watching you wreck yourselves.

That's a neat little story.

Yeah cause if there's one thing to be really proud of is the banking industry. Those Wall Street/big bank guys sure have all of our well being in mind and have this country going strong... oh wait.

But seriously, I wish Regions and BBVA Compass the best, but I would rather that not be the sole reason Birmingham were to suddenly rise in prominence.

Yep god forbid well educated intelligent professionals make Alabama a more prosperous state, the more ignorant rednecks barely surviving the better

Yes, but Birmingham is the third. Or was until 2008. Haven't seen the rankings since then.

Kind of how we're laughing at Penn State? Well, not actually laughing. We're actually looking on with mild disgust on your beloved alma mater. Not even mlld, even. It borders on nausea. Oh, and I've been to Indiana dozens of times. It's nice, but it isn't exactly the dimple of the universe. In fact, there are more mullets per square mile in Indiana that I've ever seen in Alabama. Thanks for playing.

How is this post still up? As a conservative northerner, this is news to me. About the only thing you didn't do is call us 'Yankees', cletus.

How quickly you forget.
We tried that and it didn't turn out so well.
The past couple of years I hear more about the blue states talking about seceding.
I doubt any of it happens. Honestly, we need each other.
I'm not laughing at anybody. We're all in this together.
