Default new Brockton?

Anyone know a New Brockton out by Enterprise? There is a home for sale there on lots of acreage and a lake. Sounds good, but is there anything else around or would I live there all by my lonesome dying for some human contact, some stores, some life?

It would surprise me if New Brocktons population is even 1000 people. The town is shrinking. There is a semi-quaint downtown region, however, almost all of the businesses are out of business. Not sure there is a restaurant in town anymore. A few have opened and closed. There is a little market (not so nice), a gas station, churches..... and not much else.
Personally, I love the countryside of New Brockton. It is very nice and very peaceful.
A lot of New Brockton kids go to school in Enterprise, have heard that is easy to arrange.
The good news is New Brockton is only a nice and easy 10 minutes or less from Enterprise. Enterprise can offer you more and fulfill most of life's amenities/necessities.

Not sure you would be completely isolated in New Brockton....however Enterprise is so close by.
Hope this helps.

what is this "new brockton" you are talking about? I was born and raised here and have for many years moved away due to the crime rate. I hear it has gotten better. is this what you mean by "NEW BROCKTON"? Indulge me.... thanks, Nan

Depends on where in New Brockton. Quaint town, nice country folk live there. If it's "near town" you should have some nice neighbors. You do have Enterprise and Ft Rucker army base close by. So you will have plenty of lesuire time options. On the other side you have the city of Elba (floods every 10 years or so). They say it won't flood again due to better levy system built by army corps of engineers. Nice farming, pulp wood, cattle and chicken house area.

New Brockton is a nice little country town, there is hardly any crime here. Quiet place where people know one another, 2 restaurants, Frogz great place, and another little deli, 2 gas stations 1 full service, the other convienence store type, parts house, accoutning office, gun store, florist, interior decorating,Police protection, Fire protection, bed & breakfast, propane appliance store, daycares, 5 churches in town, I think 1 of every belief, tile store, beauty shops, elementary & high school, with good programs ie, football, basketball, baseball, golf, softball, volleyball, band, etc. I KNOW, I LIVE HERE & HAVE BEEN SINCE 1972. Still here & love it.

Thumbs up I love new brockton! Thanks for the memories.

I own a home the town of Oro Valley Arizona, and drive 22 miles one way to work in Tucson. From my experiences down south, the residents of New Brockton have sweet tea in their veins, and god in their hearts. New Brockton will be the retirement destination for the west coast Baby Boomers, so enjoy it while the prices are low, and the cranes are at the beach. I will be your neighbor!
