Mandy do you know what is going on the Murfreesboro/Nashville market? Not only is the banking industry going through a number of changes but several large call centers are cutting back or moving. Local job seekers with experience are all over.
Mall jobs are generally part time which means no benefits, no regular hours.
What is Plan B in case of sickness or getting laid off? Rent and groceries are a necessity.
Friends are friends. Money and friendship does not mix well.

Have you considered finishing school at a regular high school instead of home schooling or depending on your talents a year as exchange student?

I hope with all these posts and PM's that you are not feeling additional pressure. Imagine that you are stressing bad enough, esp. if it seems that your family isn't listening to you. For whatever it may be worth to ya, just know that we are here w/ some friendly and helpful advice, ok, that just mean best intentions for you.

LMAO- I am a "hated" Gator Fan....yes one of those but I'd sure love to borrow your TN line....Great Stuff there and it is a TOTALLY different orange than ours!! Oh and sorry for rudely butting in...but you know us Florida people! Good Luck Mandy and the advice about finishing school is WISE...think long & hard about that!

You know at community colleges in FL you can duel enroll in the 11th grade...maybe that's an idea for you. You could graduated HS while earning credits toward your AA degree. Look at community colleges in TN, college towns can be more expensive but they also hold more opportunity. Also, if you qualify you can get on a work study program through the college, well I know that FL offers that. Again, Good Luck to you!

I know of a three-room apartment in a private home in Fayetteville TN that recently rented on a six-month lease for $175 per month, so there are good situations out there for good tenants. In that case they were looking for a mature renter, male or female, and insisted on a face-to-face interview before allowing occupancy. The apartment was also somewhat rundown and dated in appearance, but certainly well worth the money. Good luck.
