Default Leaving the job I love

Hi everybody,

I'm down. I'm leaving a job that I have grown to love. I'll be heading down to H'ville on 17 nov to do two things. 1... interview with drs-tem ?? in H'ville and 2... close on my new home in New Market. I grew up in H'ville but, it's been 18 yrs. since I lived there. Feels like I'm going to a "new" town. H'ville has changed alot in 18 yrs. I use to work at SCI Systems and they are Sanmina now. There is another company I'm interested in interviewing with (Wildwood Electronics) but, they haven't called yet. I lived in Arab for about 3 yrs. and 18 yrs. in H'ville. My teenage yrs. were spent in 5 points. It's going to be really neat to get back to my "old stomping grounds".

Divorce is why I'm leaving. And to be honest, I just happened to find you guys and "get in" on some of the postings by asking a couple questions. It's been really cool to find so many really nice people and who have so many good suggestions. I want to thank everybody for all the good info.

I have until 16 Nov working at Schonstedt Instrument Co. In WV and then my new journey begins. I will no doubt be coming back to this forum again and again as you guys are my first contact back to the H'ville area. (I work in WV and live in MD)

Anyway, just wanted to say "Thanks",

MDto...

Big Southern Welcome Back!!!! New Market is beautiful...good choice! Be sure to stay busy and keep your head up..There's a hunting club on Coal Mine Mtn if that's of intrest to you. Might be a good way to get to know some locals. Mary's BBQ is good out there. In Huntsville there are lots of evening spots on the square. Find one that suits you and get out of the house!! As far as Five points- it's still full of old houses and small businesses- (But Zesto's isn't there anymore!) Hope things start looking up soon.

Hey, thanks oBarefootMama!! So you think New Market is a good choice... that is good to know. Don't know anything about hunting. Is coal mine Mt. close to New Market? I would like to get to know the locals though. I'm not too keen on the hunting part but love to eat!!! and I'll definately check out Mary's BBQ!!! I can't believe the ol' greesy spoon is gone. I use to live a coulpe a blocks from there. Brings back memories

Things are heading in the right direction for me... have an interview lined up for DRS-TEM on 19 Nov. They are located on Wynn Dr. I hope the drive will be ok. Brand new home being built... can't ask for much more than that. Good job, nice home, good friends and family close by. I am blessed.

Thanks for the "southern welcome"
