Default Any suggestions regarding wireless service

I have Nextel now and am considering other companies. I had Sprint when I moved up here 2 yrs ago but had to stand in the WalMart parking lot to get service. Switched to Nextel and I have no problems with them but wondered if I should consider another wireless service.

I am thinking of T-mobile because they have a plan that cost less the one I have now and I don't use all my minutes as it is.

I need a phone with good coverage because I travel to S. AL and to Tampa.. There are several areas in FL where there is no coverage with certain companies

I've been with Verizon since before they were Verizon, about 12 years now. Despite cross-country treks and mountain hikes, I have never not had service. I have some issues with them -- for example I absolutely hate their phone software -- but as a PHONE the service works great and I have no complaints there.

I've had Nextel, Sprint and Cingular for various work phones and have had remarkably poor service by comparison.

Honestly, if you are happy with Nextel and get the service you need... I wouldn't switch unless you did a 30-day money back trial or similar.

Rick in Dixie is on a distinguished road
I've been with every service availible and Nextel has been by far the best service to date, the only place I loose signal is down close to Brewer High School and it's only for a couple miles, I can make and receive calls any where in Walmart. I also have the 2 way direct walki Talki service , my wife thinks it's heaven sent , now I don't get lost in the Mall any more. lol. Oh, by the way, Nextel and Sprint are the same now, they merged or something.
