Something I found interesting... I was wondering why doesn't Dekalb county have some type of "Christmas help" program for needy families\kids\older people? I see that Marshall county speaks out about their chirstmas coalition every chance( and i must say.. they DO help TONS of people ) but what happens to the people that live outside of their county lines? i know Toys for Tots done a program one year in dekalb co through the sheriffs office.. I find it hard to believe theres no kind of program to help around the holidays anymore, with families that may be struggling in Deklab co. ( unless i'm wrong, and there IS a such program\church\something?)
*just wondering out loud* *smile* have a nice night!

DeKalb county has one and you have to go to the human resource department to get an application and you have to meet certain financial needs also the Christian Community Outreach has a Christmas program.

I'd like to know of places that help also. I live in Dekalb County and I can't get help cause I have to have a utility bill in my name. I don't because I currently having to live with my aprents. I thought the point of helping the ones in need was to help. I have proof of everything else and ever my mom can tell them where I live but they won't the bill with my name and address. what if someone is homeless I guess they will never get any help.
