Bessemer Apt.
Don't know of anything available but I would check al.com. It is the web site for the B'ham News and its sister papers in Alabama. You may also check tuscaloosanews.com/sections/CLASSIFIEDS and look for listings in the Tannehill, Lake View or Vance areas. They are only a few miles away. That area is close to the Mercedes-Benz US International manufacturing facility and the I-459 interchange and is experiencing tremendous growth. The McCalla or McAdory area would be ideal. Good luck!

Oer distance from my farm to Fort Payne was 1160 miles. We also took advantage of the spectacular scenery and spent tome at Desota State Park. Little River Canyon (got a good woorkout by talking the hiking trail to the bottom)

Yeah...the Ft. Payne/DeKalb County region is great....it's where my wife & I will retire in about 5 years (I'm in post-retirement teaching & my wife - who is the principal at the school where I work - has 5 years until retirement). I have a lot of friends in the Masonic Lodges in Henagar, Rainsville, Crossville, etc.) who love their area. A couple of teachers here are from Ft. Payne, Jackson County (to the north), and are really helpful to us in finding "unknown" properties. Can't wait!

Alabama Chicken & Egg Festival!!!
Hey!! Anybody besides me (and the rest of the Chicken Train) heard about the Alabama Chicken and Egg Festival that's going on in Moulton sometime around the middle of April? The headliner band is Pure Prairie League (Vince Gill's old band) from the 1970's. I used to love their songs, especially - of course - "Amy", and "Kind Woman". I'm definitely on board for this one -- should be a hoot!
