You've got the wrong state. Try Georgia.

I just looked at the weather forecast and it seems like this is the first time in a long time when there are no huge thunderstorms three to five day outlook.

I see lots of "daddy long leg" type mosquitoes?? that don't seem to bite. When to the the mosquitoes really start to bite?

When the is the first day you turn on your AC?

Up here mosquitoes dont start till around the latter end of May.

We dont normally turn on our AC till around June. Last summer though it was barely on at all because the temperatures were only in the 60's and 70's.

Thursday will be the first day of sunshine for us in almost two weeks. We are just getting soaked and soaked with rain storms.

Exclamation A new parent advisory council for Ladonia Alabama Elementary School!

Hello all, I'm new here, and thought that I would share with you some news on Ladonia Elementary School in Russell County Alabama, they have added a parent advisory council this year that will help parents to voice their opinions on school matters, and are working on a resource center for the local parents! They've also launched a group site for the entire community of Ladonia to get involved in! If you'd like to join the group you can find them on Yahoo Groups, the group name is LadoniaPAC, I hope to see you there!
Robin Stafford, Chairperson to the Ladonia Parent Advisory Council

Does there seem to be a lot less fire ant mounds in the Huntsville area? I haven't seen one in months.
