Are there any tourist shops in Decatur or Huntsville. Looking for a place to buy Alabama souvenirs for friends up north. Not football team stuff, just the State of Alabama stuff, such as t-shirts, sweaters, keychains, magnets, etc.
Thanks!!

In Decatur, the Decatur Visitors Bureau has some stuff. And there's a little gift shop on the second floor of the airport that has stuff.

Maybe call the chamber of commerce. I talked to them the other day for one of our posters coming up here over Christmas holidays to find out what restaurants might be open on Christmas day. They were really nice and helpful.
Your visitors might want to take home a pic of Bear Bryant or Shrug Jordon.. They are heros here..

Huh, this is funny. Over on the Alaska forum we have a nice little chat thread going- ninety pages long! I thought it was very clever of us to start one, but I guess we're not as clever as we thought.
Hope it's not too hot for "ya'all" down there...

Oh, I misspelled "ya'll"...
I have no experience with the South, I guess it's showing. I was in Kentucky this summer for a few days and I simply couldn't figure out what the big deal was with iced black tea... @self...

Actually, it was my idea. Notice who started the thread?
No worries, though, I won't tell myself.
